Creating your project starts with the easy items like naming it and deciding on a password you choose. Notice the “Create email for subs” link. When your project is ready to distribute, a click of this button will automatically create an email that includes a link to your site, the project name and project password. All you have to do is add the subcontractor email addresses from your favorite email program and send it out. Talk about a time saver!
One of the keys to GC-FTP.com is its ease of use. The program follows a typical Windows structure which makes the learning curve minimal. The File Explorer screen allows you to manager your files and folders with an easy drag and drop structure.
Each folder has the specific content you uploaded. Easily add new documents and addendums from the File Explorer screen. No more waiting…it’s ready immediately for your subs!

Now that you’ve seen how easy it is for you. I’ll bet you’re wondering what the subs see. The screen shown below is what they see when they click the link on your email and put in the username and password supplied by you. Notice the checkbox that requires them to agree to the terms and conditions you specified in the Project Detail screen. The required documents are already selected, and the option to unselect them is disabled. Subcontractors select the files they want and download them once. No more downloading one at time and waiting and waiting. The subcontractor will thank you for saving them time as well!
